MOMIS: A car virtual catalog for E-Commerce

This car virtual catalog is an e-commerce application that shows as MOMIS can help in exceeding some limits of the virtual catalogs applications. This application allow the user to access to different catalogs supplied describing cars features.
We haven't to visit all sites in which is sold the product that we are looking for and compare their data. Taking data from all sites and using Momis we can create a unique schema to query to have the information that we are looking for.
In this example of car virtual catalog I have taken car data from renault, volkswagen and fiat web catalog.

Goals

Thanks a simple web interface we can make a query and receive an answer with the best goal of our reserch, selected from all seller databases of our interest.

Main features

This example is built using three car data sources.
Two sources are structured and built like relatinal databases with DB2 (IBM's DBMS).
The third source semi-structured and built like a validate XML file.
